The Best Candle?

If you are anything like me, you love a good candle.  One that smells amazing and the aroma just fills up the entire room! For years I've been loyal to Anthropologie candles.  Yes, I know they carry a ton of different candles, but in my mind they all smell the same. It's like I've thought that that store was the only place to buy candles in the entire world!

I happened to literally run into a Nest stand at NM the either day and in an effort to cover up the fact that I had run into the fixture #textingandwalking I picked up a candle.  Once I smelled it, I was hooked. The most amazing brand of candles, to my knowledge.  Of course, I am always open to new suggestions!

Oscars Red Carpet!

This year's fashion at The Academy Awards was absolutely the best I've seen in years.  I thought almost everyone looked perfect!
(Except Kristen Stewart who needs to lay off the painkillers and Renee Zellweger who needs to plan her next eye surgery outside of Awards season.)

Jennifer Lawrence (best actress) wearing a blush Dior Haute Couture gown- hands down my favorite actress in Hollywood right now.  Why? Because I love her red carpet style. The long Chopard necklace draped down her back in beyond glam.
Naomi Watts wearing a shimmery Armani Prive gown.  Love this structure and shape.  She is so beautiful!
We all know Jennifer Garner is a winner because she goes home with Ben Affleck. She is also winning on this custom Gucci dress!
Salma Hayek (in Alexander McQueen) looks like a shih tzu.  #hairproblems
Reese Witherspoon in Louis Vuitton.  I can't say enough good things about Reese.  I am obsessed with her and this dress.  It is so classic Hollywood and her hair is so gorgeous!
Anne Hathaway in Prada- you probably think by now I am an Anne hater- and I'm not. I just hate her lesbian hair and her terrible fashion sense.  #GetANewStylist
Kerry Washington in Miu Miu is absolutely stunning.  I want this in my closet right now.
Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta.  WOW! #bestdressed

Sad for Awards Season to officially end... but what a season it was!

Pre-Oscar Buzz!

I absolutely cannot wait until SUNDAY! The big Academy Awards!!! The fashion, glamour, the stars, AH! I'd die to go.

Did anyone hear about the Oscar Roadtrip?!? It was basically a 3 week pre-Awards trip around the USA with Mr. Oscar himself.  They went everywhere in an RV (I guess even Oscar roughs it sometimes!).

Of course, my BFF Kristan managed to roll out the red carpet at her house and the Oscar Roadtrip showed up! See her below with Mr. Oscar!!!

This isn't Kristan's only encounter with the Oscar.  She's headed out to Beverly Hills today for The Awards and other fabulous events!!!

Soooo...what are the predictions???
They are predicting Argo to win Best Picture,  Steven Spielberg in Lincoln for Best Director, Emmanuelle Riva in Armour for Best Actress, and Daniel Day Lewis in Lincoln for Best Actor.

But...what about what we really care about?
The RED CARPET...we will have to wait and see...

Bachelor/Sean Tells All Recap

So let's get down to business with the hometowns!

First, we went to Houston to see AshLee and her parents.   They greeted Sean with drinks in their hand and I guess they were anticipating what was to come once they actually watched the season.  They talked about how she was adopted and spent her youth in 349239048 different foster homes.  #repetitive

AshLee's dad gave Sean his blessing, which is totally ironic because he says he wish he would've stepped in and stopped AshLee from getting married at 17.  Good call Daddy-O.

Next, it was off to Seattle to see Catherine.  All I have to say is if Madi Wade ever talks sh*t about me on national television, she is going DOWN! That was so pathetic.  They seemed a bit jealous and overall just being really rude. #meangirls

Catherine's mom didn't exactly give Sean her blessing, but apparently he thought she did since they are engaged anyway.

Then we headed to Missouri. Fort...um..something... anyways, where we went through some Army training with Lindsay and Sean.  Although all the Army stuff was a bit cheesey, I really thought that this was the best hometown date.  But there wasn't very tough competition #bestofwhattherewas

General Yenter gave Sean some dog tags before he left.  How cute! I am sure once he drops your daughter at the altar, he will wear those things everyday!

Lastly it was off to L.A. to meet Desiree's fam dam.  They really saved the best for last here, because Desiree's brother was a total a$$!!! And I am pretty sure he had more tattoos than Mike Tyson.  If I was her I wouldn't have even invited him because he sealed the deal. #noroseforthebadbrother

Sean Tells All wasn't too exciting if you've watched every episode of the season.  Basically Sean just talked about what happened, but never gave any insight. And they didn't show very much NEVER SEEN BEFORE FOOTAGE! #buzzkill

We did get a steamy glance of Sean washing his body in the shower at the end of the episode.  Since this season has gotten lame since Mt. Tierra left, Sean's abs are the only reason this show still gets ratings.

Next week we go from 3 to 2...

Homies

The funniest thing I've seen in the fashion world in a while- Brian Lichtenberg's new collection of Hermes and Celine like tees/sweatshirts.  He is basically making fun of the Hermes logo by replacing the the horse drawn carriage and "Hermes" with a lovely broken down truck and the word "Homies."  I find this outrageously hilarious and ordered one the moment I saw them.  I plan on rockin' my Homies tee with some leather leggings, booties, bun and bright red lipstick... and may even try to get away with it at work.  Check out the Homies collection ASAP at Revolve.

The Tierra Show Finale

So since this was the season finale of our favorite television series, The Tierra Show, I figured I would exploit her a little more with my favorite Tierra quotes of the episode...

"I'm not friends with girls who like my boyfriends...I'm not."
Ohhh really, Tierra? That's so unusual, everyone loves girls who love their boyfriends!

"I consider myself a priority."
HA HA HA HA HA
You're not a priority Tierra, you are the ground we all walk on. After all, your name means ground.

"I'm so excited to spend the whole day with Sean.  However, you know being attacked by bugs... the sweatiness... and my makeup dripping off... like that's not fun or cool."
We get it, your a pessimist, but wanna try and fool us by saying something positive, uh, for once?

"I just definitely thought if I was to get a one-on-one it would be something like...because I love boating...and I love being on the water... I definitely thought it would be something like that."
Oh, Tierra...did you want to plan this date? Are you the Bachelor? Nope.  Didn't think so.

"He bought me the most incredible things any guy could buy on the first date."
You are in St. Croix and shells aren't expensive, nor impressive.

"I'm like the happiest girl ever!!!"
This is like watching a train wreck.  I can't stop watching or laughing at the dumbest girl in America.

"It's difficult because I feel like... no matter how hard I try... like to be who I am to the other girls they don't want to accept it and I think it's because they've been like kinda pissed off since I got the first rose."
Tierra, no ones pissed off because you got the first rose.  That was based off your looks.  Everyone is pissed off because you are a crazy psycho who is still on this darn show.

"These girls aren't going to be around for much longer."
JOKES ON YOU!

"Girls are jealous. Men love me."
Good luck luring any men in America in now.  I understand why your previous boyfriend died.  I'd want to die after dating you, too.

"I know that in my own skin, I'm not rude."
You aren't just rude Tierra.  That's just the nicest adjective there is to describe you.

"I can't control my eyebrow.  I cannot control my eyebrow.  I can't control what's on my face 24/7."
Tierra? Who controls your face? Do you have like air traffic controllers controlling that for you? Can I get their contact number? I'd love to discuss this further.

"I'm not perfect.  Get over it."
Ah, SHUCKS! You aren't perfect.  News to us!

"I'm just so sensitive...I have such a big heart..."
You have a heart?!?

"I can't believe he did this to me... I hope the girls got what they wanted... He doesn't want me here... I told myself going in here, no one will take my sparkle away... I'm not letting that happen."
You, your sparkle, and your drama is gone.  America is beyond relieved.  We might miss your antics, but we aren't going to miss you nor your sparkle.

SEE YA NEVER TIERRA!!! Enjoy your ride in that blue minivan...

Grammy Fashion Police by Little Miss Wade

Okay, so I am not as old or even as bitchy as Joan Rivers, but I can sure do a darn good Fashion Police.  I honestly would be way better than Kelly Osbourne because umm my hair is a normal color!?!

Here I am today as a fellow Joan Ranger and dishin' about the Grammys:

Carrie Underwood, the modern day Barbie, looking about as beautiful as beautiful gets in a Roberto Cavalli gown. Her 381 carat diamond necklace isn't ugly either.

Rihanna, the prettiest Rihanna we've ever seen, showed up in a smokin' hot custom red Azzedine Alaia gown. #bestdressed
Beyonce, you never cease to amaze me. I LOVE this jumpsuit.  Looking classy and sophisticated in a Osman by Osman Yousefzada number.

As far as I am concerned, Adele should stick to black.  Her Valentino gown matches the shoes and makes her look 1000 lbs. Literally.
Katy Perry showed up and violated CBS' no skin rule. This is a gorgeous gown by Gucci, she has a great curvy body, yet too. much. chest. This isn't a strip club Katy.
Taylor Swift in J. Mendel. I LOVE this Grecian Goddess dress.  I HATE Taylor Swift trying to be sexy.  You just aren't sexy, sorry Taylor.

Kat Dennings in some blue bubble wrap dress. This is the worst of the worst. #worstdressed

Do you think I should replace Kelly Osbourne or what?

Look of the Week: PRABAL GURUNG FOR TARGET!

The most anticipated designer collaboration since Missoni for Target, Prabal Gurung's Collection for Target, hit the stores yesterday at 8 AM. Although I was dealing with some apartment fire siren drama at that god forsaken hour, I managed to hit up my local Target during the afternoon.

Prabal Gurung is known for his vibrant prints and this collection is no different.  It's going to be a very bright spring!

Some of my fav things from his 80+ piece collection...

I was lucky enough to snag the fab white/black dress and the ah-mazing colorful blazer.  I am still searching Target's in the middle of nowhere for the shirt dress and for the fab yellow/multi color heels. Everything is sold out on the web but scour your local store to maybe scoop up some goodies!

Good luck on your search!

Thursday Randoms

Thursday has been my favorite day of the week since I went to college.  Why, you ask?

Well, at Georgia it was easily the biggest party night of the week.  Now, although I don't do much weekday partying (well sometimes) Thursday is still my fav day of the week.  Only because it's only 1 day away from Friday! Everyone knows that anticipation is always better than the real thing anyway.

I missed my Bachelor recap this week and here's why: the 2 night series really threw me off.  I wanted to tivo them and watch them both Tuesday but after 3 hours of the Bachelor, I was dunzo and literally passed out in the middle of the group date.  Sorry blogging friends, sometimes sleep > The Bachelor.

Really, the only thing you missed was Mt. Tierra erupting like a freaking volcano.  She is a natural disaster, and thats the only way I know how to describe her.  She was trending on Twitter Monday night and not because she's America's favorite.

This morning I volunteered and served breakfast at The Bridge- for you Dallas folks- this is a amazing organization to be a part of.  In January alone they served 47,000 meals to the Dallas homeless.  They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to anyone who shows up.  I encourage all of you to get involved at the The Bridge, really awesome people run it and the people we serve are VERY grateful and positive.

Back to The Bachelor- and I'm not talking about this season.  Remember Jef (with 1 F) he slept over on a good friend's little sister's couch at SMU Tuesday night.  Quite the shacker.  I guess him and Emily really are on the outs if hes praying on college girls.

I've done quite a bit of shopping this week. The ShopBop sale was too good to pass up.  I bought these Yosi Samra flats because my BFFs Kayley and MK rave about them.  I snagged this dress in red and in white by Alice + Olivia (only plum left!) because I wasn't sure what color I would like best. Also ordered this dress because I loved the color, style and easy-ness.  This little number from ASOS- what a steal! Had to have it.

Any big plans for the weekends friends? We are celebrating a BFF's Birthday tomorrow night at Vino 100 (a Dallas wine bar) and PrimeBar for dinner. Saturday will be spent lounging. Sunday are the Grammy's #SOEXCITED!

That's all for today!

A Girl On A Mission: A New Crossbody

I am searching high and low for my Mama a new crossbody bag.  She needs something to throw on and wear to cocktail parties, dinner dates, quick evening outings, etc. but is sick of taking a clutch because then she has to hold it all night.  I gave her my LV crossbody (on loan!) but am going to be needing that back, Mommy Dearest.

Here are my favorite options for her:

Which one is your favorite?

3 Wishes!

My BFF Christal and I were talking yesterday and I wished for a genie; so that I could rub his belly and get 3 wishes.  Well, after I said 3 wishes, I immediately followed up with "and 3 pairs of new shoes." And in my fantasy land where I am rubbing the genie's belly and getting 3 new pairs of shoes...here is what I would pick:

Wish #1

Wish #2
Wish #3
Wish #1- Jimmy Choo Belle Chain-Fringe T-Strap Sandal- I just need a (Vegas) pool party to wear these to!
Wish #2- Christian Louboutin Rock & Gold 120 Metallic Leather Ankle Boot- I just want to click my heels away and go off to the Wizard of Oz with Dorothy!

What are your 3 (shoe) wishes???
I Hope my genie has lots of cash money!
