Look of the Week: PRABAL GURUNG FOR TARGET!

The most anticipated designer collaboration since Missoni for Target, Prabal Gurung's Collection for Target, hit the stores yesterday at 8 AM. Although I was dealing with some apartment fire siren drama at that god forsaken hour, I managed to hit up my local Target during the afternoon.  

Prabal Gurung is known for his vibrant prints and this collection is no different.  It's going to be a very bright spring! 

Some of my fav things from his 80+ piece collection...

I was lucky enough to snag the fab white/black dress and the ah-mazing colorful blazer.  I am still searching Target's in the middle of nowhere for the shirt dress and for the fab yellow/multi color heels. Everything is sold out on the web but scour your local store to maybe scoop up some goodies!

Inspired by the lack of funds in my bank account, I am showing my thrifty-ness in the blog today!  No matter how much your shopping budget is, it's a fill of thrill when you get a great deal!

Mossimo Women's 3/4 Sleeve Melange Dress- $27.99- This dress looks uber comfy and perfect for those Monday's when you don't want to get really dressed up for work! (AKA TODAY!)

Old Navy Faux-Animal Fur Ankle Booties- $29.50 (on sale!)- These booties would be perfect to dress up this dress.  I love the contrasting looks! Plus use "ONSAVEBIG" for an extra 30% off! (How many times can I post about animal print booties?!?) #nevertoomuchcheetah

Cocktail of the Week:

Cherry-Orange Bourbon

Ingredients:

 -3 cups fresh or frozen sour cheeries

-2 oranges

-500 ml Bourbon

Bartending:

 Combine 2 cups cheeries, some orange zest and bourbon in a clean one-liter jar with a lid.  Store in the fridge for a few days and shake it everyday to infuse it.  Make it today and it will be ready by Thursday. Use the rest of the ingredients to serve in your drink! Enjoy!

Target Women's Mossimo Viveca Blingy Heel- How precious are these? I am loving the metallic toe on pumps right now and these are perfect for the trend- at only $32.99!!! 

Bobbi Brown Metallic Long-Wear Cream Shadow-  this stuff works like magic. Stays on for days! Santa baby, stock that stuffing with every color of them! 

Tory Burch Desk Calendar with Stand- my BFF Emmy gave me this but monogrammed last Christmas and it was one of my favorite gifts.  Hoping to receive it again- hint hint hint. 

Ben's Garden 'The Best Color' Trinket Tray- a tray for all your baubles with a quote by Coco Chanel- I mean it's so a no-brainer! 

CB2 Gold Pig Bookends- saw a friend instagram these (Hi Libby!) and begged her for the site.  I am OBSESSED. I need them for a shelf in my new apt!!! 

Harper Gray Hampton Floral iPhone Case- found this wonderful little site on Etsy and want this case sooo bad! Would be perfect for spring! 

Julie Vos Calypso Cuff-  love this chic cuff.  You could wear it with literally everything! 

Dorothy Perkins Black Necklace Jumper- ok this "jumper" (across the pond sweaters are jumpers) is perfect because you don't even have to buy a necklace to go with it! How cute!

What I Want For Christmas: Episode 2

Back again, for episode 2 of What I Want For Christmas!  Today's stuff is even better than yesterday- are you wondering if that is EVEN possible??? See below! 

Xhilaration Junior's Leopard Pajama Set- okay, I admit, I already own this pajama set. BUT, I want you to have it to so I added it to this post! Aren't they precious? The perfect snuggly warm PJ set! 

J.Crew Collection Embellished Ragland Sweatshirt- Throw away your old sorority sweatshirt and update your closet with this one! Wear with jeans on the weekends, yoga pants to brunch or to work with black pants and heels!

Zara Leopard Print Coat- the most adorable coat EVER. Besides the Pink J. Crew Bow Coat I posted about earlier. They are tied.  But a girl needs at least 2 coats right???

Truffle Number 1 Pouch- Everyone is raging about these new pouches.  They are so chic and really organize your purse for you.  Plus, it comes in pink, so you needed one like yesterday! 

Jimmy Choo Shira Animal-Print Cashmere Gauze Scarf in Tangerine- This scarf is so beautiful.  Coral and animal print? That is like even better that bread and butter, and for a girl like me to say that, WHOA.

P.S- We are so fortunate and must remember to give back.  Please go and adopt an Angel from the Salvation Army Angel Trees around the DFW area today. I adopted Yulissa and she "needs" a coat and "wants" a play kitchen set.  The gifts that I buy her will be the only ones she receives all Christmas...that will make your heart melt. XOXO
