Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's

Have you ever seen those whitty napkins and/or sytrofoam cups that read:

I mean ain't that the truth?
No one wants to keel over in an aisle of Wal Mart buying ramen noodles
I'd rather die in the midst of the shoe salon at Northpark Neiman's
(which is wear I usually gasp for air anyways trying on boxes and boxes of shoes!)

Which brings me to my next point...

Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf's

 A documentary about
"...the designers, buyers, window dressers and famous customers who make it [Bergdorf's] a destination."

Have you seen it?
Let me introduce you to my college BFF's new movie review blog:

She's one of those people who is always quoting, talking about or watching movies.
A true movie buff. She knows her stuff.  Subscribe here!

I am not much of a movie girl, but when she posted this about Scatter My Ashes I was so excited to read.
It is truly an amazing summary that makes you want to RUN to the theater to see.

After all, when I die, please scatter my ashes at Bergdorf's.

I imagine heaven is a lot like Bergdorf''s...floor 2 to be exact!

Sandals Season + A Must Have Item

The most important thing about the summer is that your toes are painted a bright fun color and that you have on a fabulous pair of sandals.

Today I am lusting after these beauties...

Can you tell my no-shop June isn't going so well?
#shoppingaddict

P.S- I have you seen this adorable P.S. tote?

Spotlight: Monolo Blahnik

Monolo Blahnik
(an iconic high end shoe designer worn by none other than Carrie Bradshaw!)

Has two really cool things going on:

Have created a virtual BB Bar online at the NM website as well as an actual (candy) bar in stores!
The Monolo BB is the best neutral and natural pump in the world.
You can find it on the everyday girl at work or on red carpets across the world!!!
For the complete history, visit the Bergdorf Goodman Blog post here.
In this real life BB Bar, you can pick your heel height and color and have a pair of made-to-order BB Pumps!

Are creating what Vogue calls, "a serious shoe collection" for debut in 2014.
Named "SJP," the collection will consist of shoes and sandals for $200-$300, bags for around $700, and trench coats, all sold exclusively at Nordstrom.
I can't wait to find out more details about this exciting collaboration, but for now, find the full article here.

SJP loves the BB pump- will it be incorporated into her new collection?!?

I am actually going to be the old lady who lives in her shoes!

Kate Spade SALE!

In my vacation wrap-up here, I mentioned the wonderful thing
(that is the)
Kate Spade Sale going on!!!

(Also seen here in my NYC trip wrap-up, this beautiful little make up bag is on sale too!)

Here are my favorite things
(which happens to be a chic outfit!)

Izzy Wedges ($250)*

*I really want these.  I promised myself I wouldn't shop in the month of June to save $ for an upcoming trip, but I think I might have to pick up a second job to pay for these lovelies*

I have so many shoes I am going to have to start storing some in my oven.

The disappointment that is Milly + Banana Republic

(To me)
The most important thing
(besides how beautiful it is)
in a inexpensive retailer and fashion designer collaboration is the price point.

Affordability.

$140 for a summer mini-dress isn't affordability
and that's just what Milly for Banana Republic has given us.
I am a huge fan of Milly.
I love everything it represents
(bright colors, floral patterns, and fun ladylike fashion)

However, (to me) this collaboration was a total disappointment.
The shorts were very J. Crew-ish, the dresses were odd patterns, the accessories were very cheap looking and the overall vibe wasn't half as great as last year's Trina Turk for Banana Republic collab.
(which I loved!)

I do like this dress and only because it is an exact replica of last season's
(which happened to be my best friend Amy's graduation party dress!)

Milly Bari Colorblock Maxi $485 (sold out)
Milly + Banana Republic Colorblock Maxi $165

Did you like the new collab looks or were you disappointed?
Check it all out your yourself here.
